Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding, 30 December 1986 in Hereford, England) is an English musician and singer. Ellie Goulding, a British singer-songwriter who rose to fame in 2010 after her hit songs Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed caught public attention. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has an unique soprano voice and has a talent to write songs that are emotional with inspiring lyrics. Like her predecessors Kate Bush or Imogen, she's on the cutting edge in the world of mainstream and the artful independent music.
