Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has been awarded numerous prizes for her writing and design. She is a proponent of the rights of animals. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 1972 are among her most well-known films. Her family was an artistic family from New York and wanted to explore a career in the art. She started as a photography assistant and later moved into acting and modeling. MacGraw was awarded the Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 movie Love Story was an international hit, earning the actress the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. After just three short films, MacGraw was declared the most successful female in box office history. Her footprints from 1972 along with her signature were engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she has appeared on include The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and other. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography was published. MacGraw is married three times.
